WILDDESIGN Shanghai Sustainable and Green Christmas

Throughout the year our mission is quality of Life and Style. Therefore, to live out our corporate colour green fully and keep the quality high, but also to think about our environment, earlier this month WD Shanghai team celebrated Sustainable Christmas.

Creative activities, mulled wine and Christmas food made a memorable night. As our team is multinational, we brought together few countries’ traditions into one event: Swedish way of making Xmas tree decorations, German ‘Schrottwichteln’ that is Secret Santa in a sustainable ‘gift reuse’ way and French food.

We had to decorate our Xmas tree, that was not cut in the woods – it ‘lives’ in a ground pot and will go back to the wild after serving to us festival Xmas happiness. We used everything we could find in the office and made our own Christmas tree decorations: shredded paper was used for the snow substitute, plastic cutlery was used to make snowflakes and many magazines were reused for colourful and unique decorations.

After tasty dinner recycled gifts were exchanged and it was decided by the team, this tradition will stick with a house – it was proved to work out very well.

WILDDESIGN Shanghai wishes you Prospective and Successful year of the Black Snake!
