Retail & Space / Kahla

Messestand Design für die Shanghai ExpoChallenge
We were asked to develop and implement a 40 square-meter stand space for the German Living exhibition at the Shanghai Expo center.

Approach
Kahla’s Chinese distributors wanted to emphasize the connection between the brands they distribute, so our starting point was to blend this space within Fissler and Wusthof spaces. The space was rather small, so we choose to highlight the Kahla products by using indirect lighting from the shelves.

Result
Within three days of the exhibition, KAHLA enhanced it’s brand image tremendously. Many Chinese businessman have shown interest in distributing these ceramics throughout interior China.

Project Outcome
• Stand design
• Supervision of the stand builder
